It could pack as much as 800 hp with production limited to just 200 units.
McLaren reportedly removed the original exterior panels and replaced them with a full exposed carbon-fibre bodywork package.
All vehicles planned up to 2030 will retain combustion power, although the company says it can pivot if needed.
It features functional scissor doors, a remote-controlled active rear wing and a highly-detailed cabin.
It is now the most expensive McLaren F1 sold publicly.
People in the room describe it as a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, only a bit larger.
