After all this on again off again regarding the Bugatti Galibier AutoCar are now confirming that it will be the manufacturers next production model. The car was first shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009 and now they are poised to resurrect the £2m super-luxury, front-engined saloon in the future. The luxurious new four-seat saloon is one of four model proposals being looked at by Bugatti boss Wolfgang Dürheimer. It is intended to provide stiff competition for the upcoming replacement for the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Wolfgang Dürheimer said “At present, I am following up four strategic ideas. The Galibier is one. I can’t talk about the others.” when questioned about the Galibier.
