BMW have unveiled their new X2 Concept and if you know BMW’s design language you will notice that this is drastically different. It is being described as “a vehicle for active people looking for a combination of enjoyment and practicality”, according to the brand’s Senior VP, Adrian van Hooydonk.
There is the signature ‘kidney’ grille flanked by some angular laser headlights with very cool graphics sitting on top of an aggressive front bumper and wide air intakes. The raked windscreen with lower roofline really makes the Concept look sleek and sporty. At the rear, there is a more angled tailgate than the one found on the X1, a prominent spoiler, new taillights and double exhaust pipes. Don’t expect to see many (if any) of these epic design features in the production version which should be out 2017 or 2018.
