We know that Lamborghini are currently testing a revised version of their Aventador and according to a trademark discovered by AutoGuide, it may become the Aventador S. Filed just the other day with the European Union’s Intellectual Property Office is an application is for the name Aventador S. The name would suggest not another version of the twelve-cylinder supercar to sit alongside the existing ones, but rather a facelifted model to replace it.
We can expect some styling changes, revised interior and electronics but most importantly a hike in horsepower. At this stage we would estimate around 30 horsepower extra which would bring it up to the power output of the LP720-4 50th Anniversario model. When will we see it? It will likely leak beforehand but if they manage to keep it under wraps we guess it will show the world it’s face come Geneva Motor Show 2017.
