The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series uses the current Gallardo LP560-4 but heavily modified into a proper racer. The series next year will be using the very same car so we can expect to see some 570hp V10 action around the world. 2015 is where it gets exciting because as you all know we are on the brink of seeing the Gallardo successor (hopefully Frankfurt but probably Geneva next year) and this car has been confirmed as the 2015 Super Trofeo race car. Cristiano Inverni (coordinator of Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia Series), confirmed that the new model will be involved in the 2015 season. This ‘Cabrera Super Trofeo’ will more than likely be unveiled at the end of the 2014 season to show the drivers what they will be racing the following year. Thanks to LamboCars.com, we see a speculative rendering of the track car with very aggressive styling and I love it! If the Cabrera does push the 600hp which we think it will then the Super Trofeo version should get a little bump up to 650hp.
