AC Schnitzer Lowers BMW i8 And Lathers It With Carbon

Tuning BMW’s is AC Schnitzer’s game and when it comes to the already good-looking BMW i8, they have another package up their sleeve. The biggest aspect of this package is the lowering of the hybrid sports car by 25 mm at the front and 20 mm at the rear. Coupled with some new carbon fibre bits and pieces and you have one mean-looking environment friendly sports car.

The list of upgrades include a new front spoiler, winglets, split hood vent, rear wing, side skirts, and three-piece diffuser, all crafted from sexy lightweight woven material. You also get restyled kidney grilles and a red chrome finish on the exterior. To complete the look some 21-inch split-spoke forged alloy wheels are fitted and are actually lighter than the stock shoes fitted at the factory.
