I am not surprised at this but what I am surprised is that these are actually patent photos of what is called the Landwind E32 and as you can see it is a blatant rip off of the highly popular Range Rover Evoque. Some of the Chinese knock-off’s ‘borrow’ styling ideas when they create their similar cars but to copy an entire design and attempt to claim it as your own is just not cricket. It will come out of China at the end of this year and will be powered by a 188 hp 2.0-litre turbocharged powerplant. Pricing is estimated to start at around $19 200 which is a hell of a lot less than the Evoque base price of $41 000 but to be honest I would not touch the Chinese version with a barge pole. There is a reason the Evoque has been such a hot seller so I would back the original and authentic version all the way to the bank.
