We knew it was coming as they gave us a teaser but now we have the Vorsteiner widebody BMW M4 dubbed the Special Edition GTRS4.
To begin the process, they scanned the entire body of the Austin Yellow BMW M4 Coupe after which CNC components were created to perfectly fit the car. The rear quarter panels and flared wheel arches were carved out of clay before being turned into carbon fibre masterpieces. At the front, the fenders are two inches wider and at the rear they are 3.5 inches wider. The GTRS4 now rides on massive 21-inch wheels with a width of 345. These wheels are wrapped in only the best Pirelli rubber, the P Zero.
Visual changes include the following; carbon front bumper with integrated splitter, carbon aero side blades, carbon rear bumper and diffuser, Vorsteiner badging and then some epic 90mm quad exhaust tips at the back. Vorsteiner did not just fiddle with the cosmetics of the car but also upped the power from 425 to 500 horsepower thanks to an ESS Tuning E-Tronic system. This is one mean looking Bimmer and I am sure it will get a lot of attention at SEMA 2014.
