In a very serious incident in Germany, two people have lost their lives after a McLaren 12C Spider collided head on with an Opel Corsa. Reports indicate that the driver of the supercar lost control on a wet road at a very high rate of speed which caused the car to veer into the oncoming traffic where it collided with the small Corsa. The 57-year-old driver was killed on impact and the driver of the 12C later died in hospital. There was an eight year old boy in the passenger seat of the McLaren who survived the horrific crash but did sustain serious injuries. This should once again serve as a reminder that speeding (especially in the wet) has disastrous consequences when things go wrong. RIP to the two drivers.
