Details are slowly emerging about the hotly anticipated Veyron replacement and if all is to be believed this thing is going to be completely and utterly insane!
It will retain the massive 8.0-litre W16 quad-turbo engine but will have two electronically-powered turbochargers which will pump the output up to 1500 hp from 1200 hp. Torque will remain the same at 1500 Nm and it will feature a tweaked dual-clutch seven-speed gearbox. Thanks to this increase in power, the top speed is estimated to be 463.5 km/h which will make it much quicker than the Veyron Super Sports record of 431 km/h. The 100 km/h sprint will reportedly take less than 2.5 seconds and it will be equipped with the best of the best in braking equipment. 92% of the components will be brand new or massively reworked. According to this same report, they will be fitting the car with a speedometer that goes all the way up to 500 km/h. This is mind-warping stuff!
