Aston Martin has just revealed their most potent DB9 yet, the DB9 GT. It has been described as offering ‘the best of what a DB9 can be’ and the GT features an uprated version of the 6.0-litre V12 which not produces 540 horsepower. The peak power is now produced at 6750 rpm and power is sent to the back wheels through the Touchtronic six-speed auto box. Thanks to the increase in power, the 0 to 100 km/h sprint now takes 4.5 seconds (0.1 seconds faster). The GT sits on the standard DB9’s independent double wishbone front- and rear-suspension, which works with three-stage adaptive damping, adjustable through three modes – Normal, Sport and Track. Some new 10-spoke 20-inch Silver Diamond turned wheels are fitted and some other subtle cosmetic changes have been included. A black painted splitter and diffuser, restyled headlights and GT badging on the brake calipers and fuel-filler cap.
