AC Schnitzer has released details of it’s latest BMW tuning package and this time they have done up the already insane BMW X6 M. The mods start with the twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine that pumps out 567 horses in standard form but AC Schnitzer managed to pump up this figure to 650 hp thanks to some ECU remapping. If you opt for the whole package, your car will be equipped with a sport exhaust system with flap control (available with two “Sports Black” tailpipes, chromed “Sports” tailpipes or two “Carbon Evo” tailpipes) to enhance the V8’s note under higher throttle loads.
To improve the aesthetics of the X6 M, AC Schnitzer installed a new front skirt, a fixed carbon fibre rear wing, carbon rear skirt insert and vented sport bonnet, plus optional chrome design elements for the bonnet vents and the AC Schnitzer rear skirt decor film. The standard wheels were changed for a custom set in BiColor or matte anthracite finish. A lowering of 30mm gives the car a more composed stance. No details on the pricing yet but don’t expect anything below R2,000,000.
