A Ferrari 458 Italia seems to be heading to the scrapyard after being involved in a fairly hefty collision in Cape Town. Sources mention that the driver last control of the car by accelerating too hard around a corner resulting in the car coming loose and slamming into the armco barrier. By the time the emergency services had arrived, the driver had left the scene (hmmmm) but apparently no one was injured. These cars needs to be treated so carefully as a fraction too much and the rubber will let go and then show you who is boss. The incident happened on the 30th of January.
