Audi Sport are gathering pace in their SUV lineup but the range-topping RS Q8 has it’s sights firmly set on the mighty BMW X6 M.
Audi Sport boss Stephan Winkelmann told Auto Express: “Today we have a product line-up which we are working on which will be expanded in more prestige segments and bodystyles which are sellable around the world, SUVs.”
He did not confirm exactly which models are on the way but he did suggest that a version of the new Q8 is the first model we’ll see.
It will use the same platform as the upcoming Lamborghini Urus and maybe even the same V8 powerplant.
