When Mercedes-Benz and McLaren collaborated back in 2003, the legendary SLR McLaren was born. We know low mileage regular models are expesive but what about one of the SLR 722 models? Well as a starter, only 150 of these editions were made in 2006. In 2009 a Roadster version of the 722 model was created called the 722 S and then in December 2010, McLaren offered an MSO version of the car to existing SLR owners.
Only 25 examples of the MSO-modified Mercedes-Benz SLR were made, and each of them received a revised body, new interior elements, a new sports exhaust system, an upgraded suspension, and a modified steering. The exterior featured a new set of bumpers, revised front grille, different side skirts, a redesigned rear diffuser in the bumper, and a set of new rims. So what if one of these were for sale? Well one of them is with 15,800 km’s on the clock and the asking price is a mental €9,999,999. If this is your thing, then go ahead but you could buy a Bugatti Chiron, Pagani Huayra and a Huracan with some spare change.
