The Maserati MC12 is nearly 10 years old now and has turned into a serious collector’s piece but Edo Competition has just introduced a brand new tuning package for it. The MC12’s price tags are sitting around the $1.6 million mark and they are still rising which means it would be silly to ‘modify’ one with an aftermarket package. This is slightly different though as Maserati themselves commissioned the tuning house to prepare an MC12 worthy for the Italian car company’s centenary.
As we know, the underpinnings are from the mighty Ferrari Enzo which means it packs a 6.0-litre V12 pumping out 620 hp and 652 Nm of torque. Edo’s package makes the car even more potent, mainly because it’s one of the 12 track-only Corse cars that’s been converted for road use. It has been called the Edo MC12 Versione Corse or VC for short and it puts out 744 hp and 740 Nm of torque.
