Before losing his life during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, at the Imola track, in Italy, Ayrton was voted as the best and most influential Formula One driver of all time in different motorsport polls, and besides his memory, his legacy lives on through one iconic car: the Honda NSX. Ayrton was instrumental in the development of the Japanese car which is why the filmmaker decided to choose the NSX as the car to pay tribute to him.
