Porsche recently revealed a 2.9-litre V6 twin-turbo engine for their new Panamera and according to AutoCar, Audi will be using it in four new performance cars including the ‘entry-level’ Audi R8. It will also be used in the RS4, RS5 and RS Q5. This will be replacing Audi’s older naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8 which kicked out 444 horsepower so expect the new unit to pack closer to the 500 hp mark. Audi officials revealed that the new V6 will be offered in a range of outputs.
