When I drove the BMW i8, I absolutely loved the thing and it’s 362 horsepower but if new reports are to be believed, then the second-gen model could pack an insane 750 horsepower. Automobile Magazine suggests that the new i8, expected to arrive in 2022 or 2023, will dp away with an internal combustion engine and rely solely on three high-revving electric motors. Add in an even more capable battery and the new car may have a range of around 490km. Since it may be packing some serious fire-power, it will use four-wheel drive to funnel the power to the ground. We are going to take this with a pinch of salt for now because it seems to be a whole new car and not just a second iteration.
