Following in the Boxster’s steps, the Porsche 718 Cayman has arrived with a few new things. The main change is the engine which is now new turbocharged flat-fours replace the naturally aspirated sixes in the old car, with a 2.0-litre with 300 horsepower going in the Cayman and a 2.5 with 350 in the Cayman S. The Cayman S packs enough power to hit 100 km/h from standstill in 4.1 seconds.

New brakes round out the mechanical changes, and the Porsche Active Suspension Management Sport suspension is now an option on the Cayman S. The 718 Cayman has already gone on sale with the base price (in the US of A) being least $54,950 for the base model and $67,350 for the S.
