    A user of the popular site Reddit has recently shared some screenshots showing the part prices of the hybrid Porsche 918 Spyder hypercar and they are eye-watering (expected). If something were to happen to your engine and you needed a new one, you would need to part with $203,385 (R3.1 million) before tax. Some of the other items of note are;

    • Transmission – $70,000 (R1 million)
    • A single floor mat – $540 (R8200)
    • Wing – $28,000 (R430 000)

    On a side note the 918 Spyder is cheaper to repair and maintain than the Carrera GT as a new engine for that V10 monster will set you back $262,000 (R4 million).
