Bentley came out with the Bentayga in September and claimed that it was the fastest product SUV ever made but it seems that did not sit well with Lamborghini. We know that they are currently developing the Urus SUV with a twin-turbo V8 but Stephan Winkelmann recently said that it will be powerful enough to be the world’s fastest SUV.

“Our car will be the first time Lamborghini has a turbocharged engine, a V8 and it will be the fastest SUV for sure. That has been a key objective. In terms of top speed, in terms of acceleration, in terms of everything . It has to be, it’s a Lamborghini”, Winkelmann told Car and Driver.
