We know the old Audi R8 was at a large power disadvantage when compared to the Gallardo but the same cannot be said for the new generation R8 V10 Plus. In fact, it might be the opposite because according to Motor Trend, the new V10 Plus is actually faster to 100 km/h than the Italian Lamborghini Huracan. It seems the 5.2-litre V10 pumping out 602 horses does a better job getting the German off the mark than the raging bull which is not ideal. The 0 to 100 km/h time is a full 0.2 seconds faster which means this new range-topping R8 is just 0.1 seconds slower than a Bugatti Veyron and McLaren P1 to the 100 km/h mark. This is not an official test by any means but they have tested both machines and these are the numbers. If I had the money to buy either of them, I would most definitely go the way of the Bull!
