A post on Reddit revealed what looks like the shortest lifespan of a McLaren 650S. This car was seriously damaged after losing control in Toronto, Canada, and the car had all its plastic still on. The Reddit post said the following;
“Just watched a maintenance guy lose control in a turn and jump the curb, blowing through a sign. Brand new McLaren, stickers still on the body and the steering wheel was wrapped in plastic.”
Photos of the accident show the damage to the front end and a shattered windshield. The structural carbon fiber tub appears to have survived the impact but I don’t think the same can be said for the dealership employees job.
