Last week we saw some spy shots of the next-generation Aston Martin DB9 but thanks to Car Magazine, some additional juicy details have emerged. It is suggested that the successor will not make use of an AMG-sourced engine but rather retain the big V12 with the new inclusion of a turbocharger. The displacement may drop from the current 6.0-litres thanks to the forced induction but power is expected to go substantially beyond the current 517 hp mark. The inclusion of the turbo will also improve the fuel efficiency and it may end up being named the Aston Martin DB11 but all is speculation for now so we will have to be patient for some official word from the automaker themselves.
