James Oliver, head of UK operations for Nissan confirmed in a recent interview with Top Gear that the next-gen GT-R will certainly be hybrid. This does not come as a surprise because the whole supercar world will move there eventually but it is good to get a solid answer from Nissan themselves. One of the biggest challenges for Nissan is to keep costs down as this has been their biggest selling point but with the introduction of an expensive and even heavy hybrid system, we may see this price jump considerably!
