The new RCZ R will be the most powerful model that has ever rolled off the company’s production line when it hits the streets in early 2014. Powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine that kicks out 270hp this sporty ride can hit 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds from stand still. The R version gets an uprated clutch, bigger intercooler and a lovely twin-scroll turbocharger to make it the fastest Peugeot ever made. It will also be better on the track with stiffer springs, anti-roll bar and a wider front and rear track. This looks like quite a bunch of fun to drive but I wonder how many we will see in SA.
