The number of supercar replica’s is on the rise without a doubt but you hardly ever hear about the builder’s being busted by the police for the obvious copyright infringements. Eight men were arrested in Valencia, Spain, for building Ferrari replica’s. Police said that they had 19 cars in their workshop with a majority of them being Ferrari F430 replica’s and that they were being sold online for around $53 000. Looks like they have used the Toyota MR2 (popular for replica builders) as the donor vehicle as you can clearly see a Toyota engine in the pictures. The detailing on the cars is not that bad actually and the wheels and Ferrari labeled calipers show these guys do care about the details. I think what they care about at the moment is clearing their name.
