I am sure I was not the only one expecting an all-new version of the R8 super car but it seems this is still a few years away. Audi have released the facelifted version of the R8 which covers all V8 and V10 models. The changes are subtle but a true car enthusiast will appreciate them. The new LED headlights and indicator lights look fantastic. The carbon front splitter which will be standard on the V10 version but also optional on the V8. The car also gets a new 7 speed S tronic transmission for all models. The engines are staying the same but thanks to the new transmission, both V8 and V10 are marginally quicker. One of the cooler things added to the facelift is a new exhaust system that contains flaps. They open fully during sharp acceleration to give out an awesome vibration that the V10 produces.
